Natalie Portman's Look at the NY 'Black Swan' Premiere
Natalie Portman has never qualified as an ugly duckling. So there's no fairytale to her transformation for the Black Swan premiere Tuesday night in New York City.
The petite beauty looked ravishing nonetheless. In head-to-toe Dior, Portman looked reminiscent of a floating dancer, which she plays in her latest title role.
Makeup artist Jeanine Lobell created the look, focusing on the mouth: "I lined her lips with a nude pencil and filled them in with a burgundy shade," said Lobell. "Then I went over the first layer with a true blue-red in the center to give the color more dimension."
She used Rouge Dior Lipcolor in Zinnia Red layered over Fantastic Plum. The eyes were left simple: Dior Beige Point eyeshadow, black liquid liner and Diorshow Extase Mascara. The glamorous, romantic vibe extended to her hair, which was curled from ear level to the ends and left down and haphazardly parted in the middle.
