In recent inetrview when ask how she knew she wanted to be a comedia she said." well i really no idea i was going to be in comedy. I moved to Manhattan because my sister live in New York and I always wanted to live there and I had done some improve comedy in college, randomly. So I was about to apply to Grad School-because I was always wanted to teach-and I thought I would to some improv comedy before I went to Grad School. So I was like I'll do some improve and hold of on Grad School for like a year or two and bum around in New York. And with the improve we were performing and stand-up comedy clubs and that was the first introduction to stand-up comedy that I had. I had never actualy really heard of it before. So I kindof got a latte jump on everything-because by that time I was like 24 or 25.So I just started watching all tihs stand-up and I love it, I fel in with it.I loved how I didn,t have to rely on six other people for a schedule and creativity and what not.I really loved the fact that you could think about something at 4pm and talk aboutit at 8pm and that what's I still love about it.So then I just started doing it,and I bombed terribly, but I still loved it so I took another like six months and just watched Jim Gaffigan and Judy Gold and Wanda Sykes and Joy Behar and Brian Regan and some of my favorite comedians off all time-you're spoiled in Manhattan because it's the best of the best .So I was seeing them in action and just kind of watching as much as I could and then I started six months latter.and I never made it to Grad School ( laugh )...to the chagrin of my mother. But yeah, that's sort of the roundabout route that I took into stand-up comedy."
