Week in Sloth

The Week in Sloth

Thursday 6
" Shark after dark"(Discovery 7 p.m.)
Sounds like an awesome late -night chat show, but it's actually a documentary using high-tech equipment to see what sharks get up to when the sun goes down.....which also sound awesome.

Bollywood Hero(I.F.C 8 p..m) D-List "SNL" alum Christ Kattan stars in this scripted miniseries as D-list "SNL" alum Christ kattan.(well,at least i can buy premise).for the next few night ,he's trucked off to india to star in a ridiculous
songs- and-dance
epic ,but the joke is even boolywood doesn't what the screechy star of Corky Romano.the guy may not be funny, but he is self aware.

Friday 7
"Chefs vs city"( Food Network 8 p.m. ) Food Network adds another " versus" so to the pile ("Iron Chef," "Throwndown With Boby Flay," "Choped") with two chefs traveling the country and the chalenging assorted cook to prepare hometown favorites.

Saturday 8
infestation(SyFy 7 p.m.
) think your job sucks ?here some slacker office workers are forced to fight off an invasion of giant insects.this-semi promising horror -commedy was written and directed by the guy who did the Project Greenlight -winning film The Battle of Shaker Heights.

Sunday 9
" Sunday Night FootBall"(KOB-46 p.m.)
wow summer really is over,It's only preseasons but still !
" who want to be a millionare " (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) seven years after it become at nightly sensation and the burned out entirely," who wants to be a milionaire " return for it's ultra -belated fourth season.

"Shark Tank"(KOAT-7 8 p.m.) No,ABC isn't horning in on discovery channel's Shark Week promotion-the network is actually remaking the British reality show " Dragons" Den. "Each Week(largerly deluded) inventors/business people try to weasel money from a panel of milionaire investors if tey get really lucky, the milionaires fight over the ideas.

Monday 10

“Teen Choice 2009” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) This is just a guess on my part, but I bet you’re going to hear the word Twilight an awful lot tonight.

Popular Science’s Future of ... ” (Science 7 p.m.) In tonight’s premiere ep, the well-known magazine introduces us to the future of “play”—which will apparently include mixed-reality games, smart footballs, pervasive games, siftables and other words I don’t understand.

“Confessions of a Travel Writer” (Travel 7 p.m.) Yeah, travel writing is a pretty sweet gig. How do you land that job? ... Says the guy who gets paid to watch TV.

Tuesday 11

“Swords: Life on the Line” (Discovery 7 p.m.) Swordfishing? Yeah, it’s probably a little dangerous, but it’s no “Deadliest Catch.”

Chain Gang Girls 2 (WE 10 p.m.) Not a soft-core ’70s exploitation flick (dang!), but a documentary miniseries about actual women on an actual chain gang.

Wednesday 12

“Criss Angel: Mindfreak” (A&E 8 p.m.) To give the dude some credit, he did make his relationship with Holly Madison disappear pretty quickly.
